Spruce Island

Mission:  Develop and promote stewardship, restoration and maintenance projects for trails

Project Dates:  July 2011-Oct 2014

Summary: 
ITN crews restored this 2 1/2-mile historic public easement trail connecting the village of Ouzinkie to Sunny Cove. Crews installed porous pavement and provided 14 bridges at stream crossings to mitigate impacts to wetlands, reduce soil erosion and improve water quality.
