Marine Debris Art Project

Mission:  Educate the community through informational materials, training and other activities about the health, social, environmental and economic benefits of trails and public access.

Project Dates:   January 2012-Present

Summary:  The Kodiak Island Marine Debris Art Project is designed to integrate art, science and environmental awareness program into Kodiak schools with trained local artists. This project will engage at least 1,500 elementary, middle and high school students directly and an additional 2,000 community members through marine debris art projects and public exhibits of finished art projects.
