
Andy Schroeder
Executive Director, Founder
Andy is an enthusiastic outdoorsman, hitting the trails, skiing, and paddling several times a week. He served two tours in the Coast Guard, which is what brought him to Kodiak. Before founding Island Trails Network he was a sea kayak guide and reserach vessel captain. Andy holds a BS degree in Government from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Andy hails from the Little Miami watershed of Ohio, where his parents are advocates for parks and recreation.
Maya Edgerly
Crew Leader
Maya grew up in Kodiak, graduated from Kodiak High School and now attends Western Washington University where she studies recreation. She began leading ITN's trail crews in July, 2010. When she's not swinging a pulaski, she's usually surfing at Pasagshak.
Lesley Seale
Crew Co-Leader, SCA Intern
Lesley attends the University of Colorado at Boulder, studying Environmental Studies and Geology. She enjoys all aspects of the outdoors in Colorado, taking advantage of hiking or skiing depending on the season. She grew up in an Air Force family—moving between Texas, Germany, California, Australia and finally to Colorado. May 2011 is her first summer with ITN as an intern co-crew leader.
